She has worked in various capacities in Customs and Central Excise at field level, systems and policy. She did her schooling in Mussoorie, Coonoor, Kasauli, Agra, Aizawl and the US. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar University, Indore; LLB from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University and MBA (Public Policy) from University of Birmingham, U.K. She started her career in Ahmedabad Central Excise in 1994. She has represented Indian Customs in various international events and also participated in the World Trade Organisation Trade Facilitation Agreement (WTO TFA) Negotiating Plenary and other meetings in Geneva as customs expert from capital. She is an Accredited expert of WCO for Time Release Studies (TRS) and has conducted trainings for Customs officers in other countries like Thailand, Bahrain, Vanuatu, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Russia and CIS.

Mr. John Ackerman serves as Executive Vice President of Global Strategy and Development at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. He leads DFW’s Airline Relations, Cargo, Research and Analytics, and Government Relations functions. Mr. Ackerman joined the DFW staff in January 2015. Mr. Ackerman directs DFW’s efforts to raise the Airport’s global profile through international air service and business development. In his current role as Chief Operating Officer of GMR Hyderabad Air Cargo he has taken up the expansion of the current Hyderabad Air Cargo facility to double its capacity, build a new dedicated express terminal & a new domestic terminal with state-of-the-art automation comparable to any international air cargo terminals as well as improving public amenities at the integrated cargo village.

Mr. Burak is the VP for Middle East and South Asia at Turkish Cargo .He graduated from Istanbul University Industrial Engineering in 2001. Same year, he started working as a Research Assistant in Istanbul University School of Business Administration, Department of Quantitative Techniques until 2004.
He started working as a Business Development specialist in Marport Terminal Operators S.A. in Istanbul port in 2005. He resigned as an Operational Systems Administrator at the end of 2008 and started his career in Turkish Airlines. He worked with the Menzies Aviation Bobba Bangalore as Chief Executive Officer responsible for PEL of the Company. Within Menzies Aviation he had played a vital role of Commercial Manager (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Srilanka) and as General Manager-Cargo for its start-up Greenfield project in India namely Bengaluru and Hyderabad. He also leads the teams’ development of synergistic and action-oriented research programs to support India’s ambitious decarbonization journey through effective, equitable and inclusive mobility solutions. Pawan has over two decades of professional experience working at the intersection of urban mobility, energy and environment. He has been at the forefront of various policy developments at the national and sub-national levels to improve the overall energy consumption profile of the transport sector. One of his recent milestones has been leading WRI India’s knowledge support to the development of the National Green Hydrogen Mission announced by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. With technical expertise in the energy and transport domains, Pawan has also enabled the development of several other policy initiatives aimed at the electrification of public transport solutions. He has been a critical force in enabling sub-national systemic changes that have led to the ongoing acceleration of electric mobility at the state level. A well-known sustainable mobility specialist, Pawan has been part of various national & international panels and coalitions on sustainable transportation.
